
About Ebong Eka, CPA
With over ten years in the accounting, tax and business consulting arenas and as a CPA for many companies, Ebong has built a successful business toolkit. Ebong has utilized his experiences to develop information products, seminars and trainings for a variety of clients.
Ebong has worked with many large professional services firm such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and Touche and BDO Seidman. He also managed tax consulting and compliance projects for partnerships, S-corporations and C-corporations clients in a variety of industries. Ebong was responsible for giving client presentations and various employee soft-skills training.
Ebong is also a tax and small business expert who frequently appears on MSNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Channel, NBC and CNN.
“Money Mentoring Minutes”, is a finance blog and resources site for small business and personal finance. The goal is to encourage the growth of financial acuity and empowerment through blog posts, videos and financial insights. Through his consulting firm Ericorp Consulting, Inc., Ebong continues to be a small business champion by helping small businesses grow and prosper. His team seeks to provide educational trainings and resources for new & existing entrepreneurs.
Ebong was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy. He also played varsity basketball, receiving All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades. Before entering the accounting profession, Ebong was fortunate enough to play professional basketball in Europe. Ebong is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
